The Carrot and the stick… Love it, my middle school history teacher used
to drill that into our heads.

My name is Larry and my business name is larry’s wash and shine mobile
detealing; would I still be required to set up a fictitious business name?
Also I called to get a business license and they stated I need to have a
commercial address. Any feedback? Thanks, Los Angeles County.

@ kevin ruiz: it is a numbers game. Trust me, your phone will not magically
start ringing off the hook. It is only one of many ways. Just keep passing
out the cards. Also go into businesses and introduce yourself and start
networking with any/all businesses in your area. The more you open your
mouth, the better. As a rule, the harder I work, the luckier I get.

Thank you for this video. I really learned a lot through this. I took
notes, subscribed because I TRUST you. Just like you kept saying building
trust and reputation. I just started my own mobile detailing here in
central California. I keep my prices under everyone else…. I did do a
couple of cars for free just to get people to talk about my services and
that alone HELPED me out, they all hand out business cards for me. Those
customers get me customers. Still, more clientel would be nice as this is
just a part time business. But I will be following your videos! Thank you
    honestly….

Serious question: I’m looking to start out, I have some people lined up,
but I’m kind of afraid to take that leap of faith and get insurance,
because I don’t know how the business will turn out. Would it be
unreasonable to make up a contract saying that I will pay in full for any
    damage done to the car?

All i have to say is wow. your actually a genies in your own way and your
don’t even realize it or maybe i just understand everything you say 100%..
I came to watch your videos bec I’m about to take on a business endeavor
into a carwash where a guy that is complete opposite of us is going under
bec he is so lost in life. Anyway the way you explain things is in detail
your don’t miss a single thing out. its like you where born to detail life
lol. And in a sense you kind of are. I admire the way you look at life bec
i also look at it the same way, except i have no found I’m passion yet and
you have. I honestly feel like a weirdo typing this to a guy on youtube but
it just makes me feel good that good, normal, honest, trustworthy people
who are not clueless in life are actually out there. Anyway Darren what i
think you should really be doing is making money off seminars teach people
how togo about life and how to see the details in it.. call it the detailed
views of life.. anyway i could tangent for hours but i had to give my
opinion and my feelings.. Nick nj
